Book Stamps and Library Stamps
The most common size for self-inking book stamps is approximately 1-5/8 inches in diameter for round designs. This is the standard "library stamp" size that fits perfectly on a standard paperback or hardcover interior page with room to spare. For large-format books or designs with intricate detail, a 2-inch stamp gives the design more room. For pocket books and notebooks with smaller pages, a 1-inch or 1-1/4 inch stamp fits better.

The most common return address stamp size is approximately 7/8 inch high by 2-3/8 inches wide. This accommodates three to four lines of text and fits within the standard return address zone.
